About this event

Tennessee Licensed Counselors and Marriage and Family Therapists will become eligible to directly enroll with Medicare and provide services to Medicare clients as of January 1, 2024. Increased Access to Behavioral Health Services to Medicare beneficiaries will be the result. This training event will provide guidance to TAMHO members in the steps to take now and beginning January 1, 2024, to take full advantage of the expansion of Medicare to providers beyond the current professionals.

Learning Objectives:

  • Review and consider actionable steps to take now to prepare for Medicare enrollment of professionals that will become eligible on January 1, 2024.
  • Review and consider organization actional steps to begin after January 1, 2024.
  • We will respond to questions about Medicare enrollment developed by MTM Services and by TAMHO members.

Documentation of 1.5 contact/clock hours earned requires individual registration and full attendance for this event – no partial credits.

David is a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist, a Certified Clinical Supervisor, a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor
